About Me
My Work
My work explores the intersection of art, nature, and storytelling. Whether through photography, mixed media, or experimental forms. Much of my work is rooted in wild spaces across the Pacific Northwest and the Great Lakes region, where I draw inspiration from rugged coastlines, deep forests, and fleeting light. I focus on creating images and pieces that feel personal, grounded, and subtly surreal.
I don’t strive to document nature in a traditional sense. Instead, I’m interested in how we perceive it, remember it, and feel it. You’ll find a mix of moody landscapes, small details, and abstract compositions throughout my portfolio with each piece created to reflect a particular place, mood, or moment.
Biography
My name is Jeremy Vohwinkle, a multidisciplinary artist and photographer based in Washington state, with roots in the Midwest, and a habit of chasing light wherever it leads. I spend much of my time hiking, creating, and working as a seasonal chef in unique places. Over the years, I've built a body of work shaped by travel, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the quieter corners of the natural world. When I’m not behind the camera or in the studio, I’m probably wandering through a forest, tending to too many creative projects at once, or cooking for artists and friends. This portfolio is a place to share what I’ve seen along the way and connect with others.
